This notice covers visitors to laikanautapps.com and tactical-phys.com (including www and their hosted Sites addresses), and enquiries sent to our published email addresses. It does not cover accounts, assessments or health data within the Tactical Phys app; those need a separate app privacy notice.
Who is responsible
LaikanautApps Ltd, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17464876). We are the controller for the website and enquiry information we use. Information and purposes
- Enquiries: your email address, name if supplied, message and any attachments. We use these to answer questions, provide support and manage business discussions. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us; where an enquiry concerns entering a contract with you, we may instead rely on steps taken at your request before a contract.
- Website delivery and security: hosting services receive technical information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and request times. Security checks may use browser signals and cookies to distinguish visitors from automated traffic. Our purpose and legitimate interest is delivering and protecting the sites.
- Legal matters: we may retain or disclose relevant records to meet a legal obligation or handle a dispute, relying on that obligation or our legitimate interests in establishing or defending claims.
You do not need to create an account or submit assessment data to browse these sites. Supplying enquiry information is optional, but we may be unable to answer without contact details. Please do not send passwords or detailed health information through a general enquiry. The websites do not use your information for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Who receives information
We use OpenAI Sites for hosting, with Cloudflare providing delivery and security infrastructure. Our domain and business email services use GoDaddy and Microsoft infrastructure. Only information needed for the relevant service is involved; a website visit does not send an enquiry email. Service providers, authorised people handling enquiries and professional advisers may receive information as needed. We may also disclose it where legally required. We do not sell enquiry information.
International processing
These providers operate internationally, so processing may take place outside the UK. Their roles, locations and applicable transfer arrangements depend on the service and account terms. These links supplement this notice; they do not replace our responsibilities.
How long information is kept
We retain enquiry records for the time needed to resolve the enquiry and any reasonably related follow-up, complaint, contractual or legal matter. The criteria are the purpose of the correspondence, whether the matter remains open and any applicable legal requirements. Technical logs and backups are subject to the relevant provider’s service settings and retention arrangements; cookie lifetimes are described on our cookie page.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If we rely on consent for a future activity, you may withdraw it. Contact gary@laikanautapps.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.
Changes
We will update this notice if the websites introduce features such as forms, accounts or analytics. Check the date above for the latest revision.
